Jerome is a graduate of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (SWBTS) and holds a Master of Divinity with Biblical Language as a concentration in Pastoral Counseling. He has served in the local church in various roles, including as a deacon and an elder. He is a veteran of the US Armed Forces, a former collegiate athlete, and Director of Athletics at SWBTS.

Jerome is passionate about Christlike unity in the local church and believes that a church that does not share the gospel has lost its purpose.  His vision and mission for Grace Bible Fellowship are a church that loves God and its neighbor, fulfills its mission of making devoted followers of Jesus Christ, and, as a church, makes every nation, tongue, tribe, and people feel welcome, regardless of ethnicity, socio-economic status, or age.
